If you are under age, please stay away. If you have a problem with m/m-sex and relationships, then look elsewhere for your entertainment. English is not my native language, so please be patient with my mistakes. T'Lin did a really great job to correct my errors, not to mention all the suggestions she gave. My greatest gratitude to her. For all remaining errors, blame me.
"Darling!!" An ingratiating voice penetrated his hearing, but he just turned around indignantly to the other side.
"Daaaar-lingggg!!!" Now it sounded much more demanding.
He pulled the covers higher. "Let me sleep! I'm tired."
"We have to talk." He could not stand to hear that insistent intonation any longer
"Can we do that tomorrow, love?? I'm really tired."
"You do not love me any more." A whining undertone swung in the voice.
He sighed and sat up in bed. " I DO love you, of course. And you know that also, Love."
"But you never have time for me any more."
He sighed again. "I have to do my job first. That is also true for you."
"We have to talk." Defiance replaced the whimpering.
He let himself fall back into the pillows. "Okay, than start now!"
"Your friends..." the voice stopped.
"What about them?"
"McCoy does not like me." Again a touch of whimpering.
"Of course he likes you."
"No! He has no confidence in me. He is against every technology. And his lamenting each time he should be beamed..."
"You should not take him too serious. He does not mean it like it sounds."
"And Scotty always grasps me with his cold hands."
"Shall I command him to wear gloves?" he asked sarcastically but it remained unnoticed.
"Yes, that would be nice." The enthusiasm was clear. "And we should also speak about Uhura and Chekov and Sulu and..."
Exhausted he closed his eyes and let the speech go on without paying any attention to its content. Only a protesting sound brought him back to present.
"You do not listen any longer!"
He sighed once more. "I'm really tired, Love. Please let us talk further about that tomorrow." He yawned demonstratively.
"Very well, but then we also have to talk also about Spock. He always observes me. He should stop that!"
"He only controls whether you are well or not. He wants what's best for you, like everyone here. Believe me, Love.
"But I would much rather be alone with you. The others only disturb us."
He heard a longing undertone beneath all the defiance. "I would also like this, but you know that this can not work. We need the others."
A sigh. "Yes, unfortunately. But I love only you, Darling, not the others. The affection was now clearly shown.
"I love you also. But please let me sleep now. Otherwise I will not be in form for you tomorrow."
"Okay, if you insist I will let you sleep. Good night, Darling!"
"Good night, Love!"
Jim Kirk sighed again, and then tried to find a comfortable sleep position. Unnerved he thought: 'Who the hell ever said it would be easy to love a Starship.'
