"May I take your coat, Sir?"

Spock looked astonished at the robot, who had hastened to him as he entered the house.

"Jim, what... who is that? " he asked his bondmate who just emerged behind the robot.

"Robby number two, he prefers to be called Two. Scotty lent me him for a few days," Jim explained.

Spock sceptically observed the robot, who suspended his coat then remained waiting for further commands. "Jim if I may remind you of the last time we had a robot..."

"Oh, don't worry, love," Jim interrupted him "He's much more developed than his predecessor."

Spock sceptically lifted an eyebrow. He remembered all to well the difficulties their last electronic household help had cost. Especially the annihilation of his important documents remained clear in his memory, not to mention the embarrassing situation when the robot caught them having sex. The fact that Robby had removed Jim's terrible garden dwarfs, on the other hand, was a point in his favor. At that time Jim actually had sworn to never again let such a "metal box" into their house.

"You know," Jim lead Spock into the living room. "I thought I could use some help. Gina is getting older and I don't have the time, myself, for all the necessary work for Christmas. And don't worry," he kissed Spock. "He has the strict orders not to touch your documents and to ignore certain sounds from us."

They sat down at the already covered table. "The kids are spending the night with friends, so we can enjoy an undisturbed evening," Jim explained. In this moment Two stepped in and served the meal.

"You don't have to work yet, do you? " Jim asked after a tasty and appetizing meal snuggling satisfied closer into Spock's arms. The Vulcan shook his head.

"Good," Jim sighed. "All this stress before Christmas really sucks." As Two came in to remove the dishes from the table Jim ordered: "Please light the fireplace."

"Yes, Sir," the robot answered and hurried out, soon after he returned with an arm full of wood. "I permitted myself, Sir, by the way, Sir, to chop your wood," he said.

"Wood?" Jim wrinkled his forehead. "We don't have any wood to..."

"The tree which stood in the garden, Sir," Two helped. "I have ground it up."

"What did you do?" Jim jumped up as he suddenly realized what wood the robot had meant. "You have destroyed my pretty Christmas tree? You damn."

"Jim, would you please calm down" Spock pulled his bondmate back onto the couch. "We will buy a new one tomorrow."

"Well," Jim growled, then turned again to Two: "Okay, you sheet metal box, before you destroy anything here in the future, you ask me first. Understood?"

"Yes, Sir," the robot answered hurriedly and actually managed to look somewhat zealous. Then he left the room.

Jim's mood improved quickly as the fire in the fireplace began to crack lovely. Spock turned off the light and ignited the candles on the advent-wreath.

"Shall I give you a massage? " Jim asked with a smile. Spock nodded. He knew exactly that it would not only be a massage. "Then pull your shirt off, I'll quickly get the oil," Jim ordered.

As Jim returned with a bottle of their best sandlewood oil, Spock lay naked on the couch. Jim, seeing that Spock had already undressed completely, was pleased, thinking this would save a few unpleasant interruptions later.

He also let his cloths fall quickly down to the floor. Spock of course had placed his orderly over a chair. Jim then knelt over the Vulcan's back.

After he had dripped enough oil into his hands he let them glide over the shoulders of his beloved. Spock in fact didn't really have any problems with his back - and as a Vulcan, he was of course able to willingly relax his muscles - yet they both loved this little game.

Indulging in the pretty proportions of his darling Jim slipped closer in order to apply the oil along Spock's entire back. "You look good enough to eat," he whispered, bending down to nibble on one ear until he elicited a groan from Spock. The he pressed his whole body against the back of his bondmate, letting Spock feel that he, too, was completely aroused.

In this moment the door was torn open, and before he had any chance to react, Jim found himself covered with cold water.

"Hey! What's this?" he cried. The entire table dripped as did his pretty wreath. On the other side of the table stood Two, an empty water bucket in his hands. "Are you crazy? " Jim snarled while Spock tried to find himself a somewhat more dignified position and to cover as much of his naked body as possible.

"My fire alarm struck, Sir," Two said in explanation of his rescue operation.

"Out!" Jim screamed. "Get a towel and a scrap rag." And turning to Spock, he continued: "Okay, you were right. I'll give him back in the morning. And if I ever want to have a robot help again just shoot me."
