Shall I tell him? I mean, it's nothing one speaks about easily - and not to a man one only knows for a few hours, especially not in this times and at this place. But somehow I'm sure he will understand me - and accept. Something on the kind he speaks about my predecessor, his grieve about Trapper John's sudden departure.
Besides we will share a tent for God knows how long. Better I tell him personally now before he someday finds out otherwise. By the way - isn't the saying 'No risk, no fun?'
And I have to admit to myself that I already like him. like him much. There is something special about him, his shy smile, his eyes - looking melancholically and humorously at once. He's an attractive man. I take another sip of my drink and take a deep breath.
"Hawkeye, there is something I want to tell you. I'm for frankness between the two of us. Although I'm a married man and I love me little daughter - my true nature is somewhat. different. You should know that I prefer. men"
He smiles at me and I'm absolutely positive that this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
